The time drive is an intrument that allowed the crew of [[Starbug]] to travel to any time in history, but not to any point in time. The crew of RD encounter their future selves who used the time drive to become incredibly rich, but immoral and corrupt. The crew of the RD from the present fight the crew from the future, ending with the detruction of the time drive
