The Series 5000 was a model of service mechanoid, superior to the Series 4000.

Little is known of the Series 5000 mechanoids but, when Kryten was trapped under the wreckage of Starbug on the Psi-Moon, his CPU recommended he check his trade-in price against the Series 5000 model. (RD: Terrorform)
