Series I and II
In Series I and II, Rimmer wears a white suit with a tie. It has a badge that says Second Technician.
Series III, IV, and part of Series V's "The Inquisitor"
In these episodes, Rimmer wears a green military uniform and this is the first appearance of the left badge.
Series V
The same as the previous, but red.
Series VI and VII
Rimmer wears a red (soft-light) or blue (hard-light) coat.
Series VIII
Similar to the first except it's all the same colour.
Series IX and X
Same as III, IV, and V, but in blue (hard-light) or magenta (soft-light).
