Pot Noodles are Dave Lister's least favourite food as mentioned in a number of episodes, although he has never stated why exactly he dislikes them.

He was suggested that he would be impressed by any technology that could take a pot noodle and turn it into food.

In the High version of Red Dwarf he encountered what he thought to be impossible, an edible Pot noodle.

If food supplies were low, Lister would choose dog food over Pot Noodles (RD: Marooned).

His favourite foods include various forms of curries such as vindaloos with poppadoms, and his own creations such as the shammi kabab diablo and the chilly chutney sandwich.
