The Oregon was a Space Corps spaceship. Little is mentioned of the ship except that it suffered some form of disaster involving unquarantined animals, in this case rabbits, and the reason why Space Corps Directives were so strict on the issue. Of the Oregon, Frank Hollister the captain of Red Dwarf said "a little nibble here, a little nibble there, and the next thing you know we're flying backwards." (RD: The End)
According the official Red Dwarf website, the final transmission of the captain of the Oregon said: "Bloody hell! There's rabbits everywhere! Parkinson, move that Netherland Dwarf so I can sit down!"
