From Tongue Tied
Om was the smash-hit song by Dave Lister's group, Smeg and the Heads in the alternate time line created by Lister manipulation events using time slides. It is only a smash hit due to Lister using his new found wealth from inventing the tension sheet to buy three million copies ("You'll never be short of an ashtray in his house"). In the original and normal time line the song and his band is virtually ignored ("Timeslides"). Arnold Rimmer states that he likes the song in in "Timeslides", though mostly to annoy Lister who is now embarrassed by it and his band. The resurrected Rimmer on the other hand in "Krytie TV" clearly doesn't like it, though how he knows about it is unknown. By then Lister seems to have changed his tune on the song as well, stating that he himself likes it again.
