Origin
Die Gestalt is a German word for form or shape. It is used in English to refer to a concept of 'wholeness'. A gestalt entity is a being that is made up of more than one consciousness, blended together to become much greater than the sum of its parts. There have been a few mentioned in Red Dwarf media:
