A chilly chutney sandwich or a triple fried egg, chili, chutney sandwich is a special type of sandwich created by Dave Lister after reading a book on chemical warfare. It is a normal sandwich only containing chilly and chutney. Eating it was described by Arnold Rimmer as like "having a baby". Though he described that even though all its ingredient were wrong, somehow it made a right. Lister's other culinary creation is shammi kabab diablo, which is also similarly lethal, he also created the beer milkshake beverage. This sandwich was created for Rimmer by Holly in "Thanks for the Memory". Lister described it as a "sate of the art sarnie", however Holly was more concerned about "the state of the floor".
